Dr. Akshar Patel is proud to serve the Birmingham community with personalized, high-quality dental care focused on restoring comfort, confidence, and function. Born and raised in Birmingham, Dr. Patel attended The Altamont School and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his dental training at the UAB School of Dentistry and furthered his expertise with a one-year residency at The Foundry Dental Center, where he focused on extractions, dental implants, and grafting procedures. Dr. Patel takes pride in creating a relaxed, supportive environment for his patients. He believes in walking patients through every step of their treatment so they feel confident and informed, especially when making decisions about dentures, implants, and full-arch solutions. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and playing golf—his newest hobby. He lives in Birmingham with his girlfriend and loves making the most of his time with family and friends.
